Snapshot about MY Contribution to Sitecore 2024

As we are approaching the end of Sitecore MVP program for the year 2024, I wanted to highlight my contributions done for Sitecore community. I am feeling grateful to the experiences which I have gained by enrolling myself into this program. 

Let's have a look at my 2024 contributions and upcoming plans for 2025.

My focus was to write the blogs in a simple, though impactful manner so that I can cover those issues which I have faced while doing actual implementation in the projects. So that’s the reason behind covering both traditional Sitecore 10 and XM Cloud concepts. Started New Sitecore User Group (SUG) Kolkata

This being the highlighted of my 2024 in which we have started our new Sitecore User Group called SUGKolkata. The motive behind this group to provide a platform to all the Sitecore community members to showcase and share their knowledge. Along with others, we ourself had a great opportunity to learn from speakers as well from our viewers about various topics.

I am an organizer of this group which is founded by Koushik Mukherjee and sponsored by L&G Consultancy. We have Rohan Kenkre as advisor from whom we have learned a lot. Along with them, we have Biswajit Nayak as Member and Chandan Kumar as Member.

Started New Sitecore Dedicated Youtube Channel

In collaboration with Koushik Mukhejee, we have started  new Youtube channel named @SUGKolkata. Under this channel we have published all our webinar videos which will help all the Sitecore enthusiasts to learn the concepts related to Sitecore XM Cloud, CDP, Sitecore Search and many more.

Attended Sitecore UserGroup Conference India – SUGCON 2024

Did Sitecore XM Cloud Developer Certification

This gives me power to explore Sitecore DXP products and allows me to showcase the implementation to all community members.

Sitecore MVP Mentorship Program

This year, I had joined the Sitecore MVP Mentorship Program as a mentee. Through this program, I gained valuable technical knowledge, expanded my understanding of Sitecore technologies, and had the opportunity to network with exceptional professionals in the Sitecore community. My mentor played a pivotal role in guiding me throughout this enriching journey. 

Goals for 2025

Keeping in mind the learning I obtained in 2024, my plans are to mainly focus on writing more technical blogs, taking part as Speaker in other Sitecore User Groups, Put my hands on implementing NextJs JSS Apps with XM Cloud and creating relevant content. 

Said above, my focus will also be on hosting more SUGKolkata webinars which will eventually help us all to evolve together.
